Oh Really?
So Pres. Obama gave a lecture to the members of the financial community at Federal Hall in New York City today. Federal Hall, in case you didn't know, is where much of the country's gold and silver was housed till the Federal Reserve Bank was made. It was also the place that Washington took his oath of office.
But I digress.
In another move of "What's good for the goose isn't good for the gander," Obama said,
Really, Mr. President?
So let me guess that you're going to be giving back all that money you got from these organizations and companies that helped you get elected?
Let me guess that you're going to be giving this same lecture to Congress about the earmarks, taking sweetheart deals on mortgages and cheating on your taxes?
...
No?
Didn't think so.
But I digress.
In another move of "What's good for the goose isn't good for the gander," Obama said,
"...We will not go back to the days of reckless behavior and unchecked excess at the heart of this crisis, where too many were motivated only by the appetite for quick kills and bloated bonuses."
Really, Mr. President?
So let me guess that you're going to be giving back all that money you got from these organizations and companies that helped you get elected?
Let me guess that you're going to be giving this same lecture to Congress about the earmarks, taking sweetheart deals on mortgages and cheating on your taxes?
